Our Story

We approach each space as a one-of-a-kind puzzle that can be transformed into something that works as you wish it would. High-quality, outside-of-the-box solutions with classic details are our sweet spot.

In the midst of our own renovation in 2017, we uncovered a gap: architects don't do it all, and even the work they do provide often leaves a lot of room for interpretation with the contractors and service providers.  We realized pretty quickly that if we wanted to achieve our exact vision, we had to bridge that gap ourselves—brainstorming layouts, sketching built-ins, and pumping out detailed, to-scale drawings...and the thing is, we really enjoyed it!  

We obsessed over the details until we optimized both the aesthetics and functionality, and now we would love to do the same for others.

• We are incredibly detail-oriented about millwork, transitions between new and old spaces, and making a room that was designed to work well look like it was simply designed to look right.  

• Our services can also be useful for those who are considering engaging an architect, but who want to talk through different ideas and generate sketches of various possibilities at a lower cost basis before moving forward.  

• We can function as a liaison between the client and the contractor as work is being performed to make sure details are materializing as planned (in other words, we can take over the often stressful role of overseeing workers).

• If needed, we can help select fixtures, hardware, and other elements that lend cohesion to the larger design.
